Panchang widget for your website

One line of code. No signup, no API key, no cost.

Add today's Panchang to your site

Paste one line of code and your page shows today's Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, sunrise, sunset and Rahu Kaal for the city you choose — refreshed every day, in the language you pick. It is free, it needs no account, and it stays fast because the readings are prepared once a day and served from cache. A one-line credit appears beneath the widget, which you can switch off with data-credit="off". Writing about us instead? The press & citation kit has the boilerplate and facts.

Frequently asked questions

Is the widget really free?+

Yes. There is no signup, no API key and no usage fee. Each embed shows one small credit line linking back to AskJeevanGuru, and that link is the only thing we ask for in return.

Will it slow my site down?+

No. The loader is about two kilobytes, the widget loads lazily in an iframe, and the data is prepared once a day and served from cache, so it stays fast however many visitors you have.

Which languages does it support?+

The values — tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and choghadiya names — render in all our site languages. Field labels are translated for English, Hindi, Hinglish, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Odia and Punjabi.

Can I change the city?+

Yes, with the city option. Choghadiya and Rahu Kaal are calculated from local sunrise and sunset, so picking the right city matters. A fixed list of 38 cities is available — 12 in India and 26 high-demand cities across the diaspora.

Will the widget break if you change something?+

No. The address is versioned. Anything already embedded keeps working exactly as it is; changes appear only in a new version you choose to switch to.

Can I remove the credit line?+

No — the credit link is what pays for the widget being free, so there is no version without it. It is a single small line and never a banner or popup.
