Twelve areas of life, from self to moksha.
The 12 Bhavas divide life into areas. The first house is counted from your Lagna, and the rest follow in order.
Houses 1, 4, 7 and 10 (Kendras) are pillars of the chart. Houses 1, 5 and 9 (Trikonas) are houses of fortune. Houses 6, 8 and 12 are where challenges are worked through.
